The Ubiquiti AF-MPx8 combines up to four compatible 2x2 airFiber radios with a single dual-polarized antenna to create an 8x8 MIMO backhaul arrangement. The manufacturer's installation guide lists AF-5X and AF-4X radio compatibility.
The multiplexer has eight radio-side RP-SMA connections and two antenna-side RP-SMA connections. Typical specified insertion loss is 7.2 dB at 5 GHz and 7.9 dB at 4.7 GHz, which must be included in link planning. Radios, antenna and appropriate system cabling are required separately.
