The Tycon TP-SCPOE-2424-HP is a compact, versatile 24 VDC PoE/Solar dual-input charge controller that delivers reliable DC power and manages batteries in systems that combine Power-over-Ethernet and solar energy sources. It features dual inputs — a solar panel input (24–36 V, up to 8 A) and a PoE input (36–57 V, up to 2.6 A) — that can be used together to efficiently charge and maintain 24 V battery banks. This redundancy ensures high uptime for critical equipment in remote locations, wireless access points, surveillance systems, and industrial control applications.

Engineered with a built-in PoE inserter, the TP-SCPOE-2424-HP charge controller delivers a regulated 24 V PoE output at up to 1 A, and also offers a secondary 24 V terminal output at up to 1.5 A for powering additional DC loads. Protective features, including short-circuit protection, over-charge and over-discharge protection, reverse polarity safeguards, and replaceable external fuses, help ensure long-term, safe operation in outdoor or industrial environments. LEDs on the front panel provide clear visual status for battery charging, load operation, solar power presence, and fault conditions, simplifying diagnostics and installation.
